Description
This is the first-level command used to specify the parameters to be estimated. The parameters to be estimated are a subset of all TOUGH2 input parameters defined in the TOUGH2 input file. Only those parameters should be specified that are unknown or uncertain; they will be subjected to the estimation process or uncertainty propagation analysis. Select only those parameters that are sensitive enough yo influence the state variables for which observations are available (see also >>> SELECT). Besides the parameters listed above, the user can specify additional parameters by means of command >> USER. The parameter type is specified by the second-level command, the domain it refers to is identified by the third-level command, and further specifications must be provided through a number of fourth-level commands. The generic structure of a parameter block is as follows:
